Ella Mai On Grammy Win: I've Dreamed Of This Moment Since I Was A Little Girl'




Ella Mai and DJ Mustard made up for lost time with Billboard's Desire Thompson on celebrity lane at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 10), talking about their Grammy win for "Boo'd Up."

Mai and Mustard, who brought home the Best R&B tune prize for their track, got some answers concerning the success in front of the show when they were headed to celebrity main street. Mai admits that she went insane when she heard the news, while DJ Mustard began crying.

"I have an inclination that I've longed for this minute since I was a young lady," Mai tells Billboard, "And to do it with Mustard, too, is mind-blowing."

Approached what's next for her following her enormous success, Mai answers, "Truly, I'm endeavoring to get past today around evening time, and after that, I'll make sense of what's straightaway.
